warranty information

Limited Warranty - No Labor Warranty.

Glen's Car & Truck Parts warrants all parts subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below.

1. All parts come with a 30-day parts-only warranty unless an extended warranty is purchased. If the part happens to fail within 30 days of purchase, we reserve the right to provide another part and will continue to do so until the warranty is over. We do not guarantee our parts will fix your problem, and under no circumstances do we offer any type of refund if it does not.

2. All engines are warranted against cracked cylinder blocks or heads, bad cam or crankshaft, excessive smoking, and to be in good running order unless otherwise stated. Gaskets are not covered.

3. The used engine you have purchased must have new oil and filter installed upon installation and every 3,000 miles thereafter.

4. All engines are sold as long blocks only; all components, including relays and sensors, must be changed as needed.

5. This warranty does not cover attached items (water pump, fuel injection, distributor, computers, sensors, relays, etc.)

Although these items may be left on the engine you purchase, they are there for convenience only, and there is no assurance of proper fit.

6. Transmissions must have new seals, filters and oil installed upon installation into vehicle. Warranty may be void if procedures are not done.

7. Vehicles which have Glen's Car & Truck Parts engine or transmission installed must have proper capacity cooling systems and must be flushed or replaced upon installation otherwise warranty is voided.

8. Warranty is void if heat tabs are melted or removed from engines and cylinder heads.

9. When a warranty claim is requested for an engine or transmission, these parts shall remain installed in the vehicle until an authorized Glen's Car & Truck Parts representative has been contacted to confirm the claim for the warranty to be valid.

10. Glen's Car & Truck Parts, at its option, may replace the parts, repair the parts or refund the original purchase price.

11. All implied warranties are limited to the terms of the limited warranty. Consequential or incidental damages are not covered under this warranty.

12. Warranties on any product sold shall be in effect only for the duration of the express warranties contained herein and upon conclusion of the express warranties herein; there shall be no warranties expressed or implied, including merchantability and fitness for use on the product sold.

13. Returned merchandise must be in the same condition as sold. All claims and returns MUST be accompanied by this invoice and returned within 30 days of purchase date. No returns on altered, disassembled or overheated parts.

14. No Returns or Exchanges on body cuts.

15. There will be no return of Michigan State Tax on returned cores according to the Michigan State ruling on trade-ins and exchanges.

16. Glen's Car & Truck Parts does not assume responsibility for towing charges, lay-up time, loss due to downtime, cost of lodging, cost of vehicle use or rental. In addition, the seller is not responsible for any personal injury or property damage as a result of a defective part.

17. In the event of a defective part return (under warranty) it is sometimes beyond our control to replace for same price, due to availability. Therefore, we reserve the right for (fair market) price replacement.

18. Deposits are non-refundable.

19. All Sales are final. No refunds. Exchange only.

20. ARBITRATION CLAUSE: All claims and disputes arising under or relating to this sale are to be settled only by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association before a single arbitrator within the state of Michigan in the city of Taylor. The arbitration shall be conducted on a confidential basis and at the purchaser's expense. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding and judgement on the arbitration award may be entered with the 23rd District Court. Arbitration shall be the exclusive final remedy for any dispute between the parties.
